Surrounded

In the center, he lives
Revolutions by the second
In the center, he sees
Conflict and resolution
Love and hate
Peace and pain

In the center,

He cries
And thus suffers the consequence
Of choosing a side

Of choosing the center

The center
Of attention
Of life

If he leaves, there is no light
If he stays, it’s too hot
He prays for clouds

Prays for his moon to come shelter his view
How marvelous a storm is!
How remarkable is an eclipse!

How hideous a storm is!
How rude it is to block one’s way!

Now he is innocent. Forgotten.
In the center
Until the sky erases the clouds and the moon

Remember the sun in the middle
Remember your breathing stress ball
